Recruitment of the Nanjing Center for Applied Mathematics(NCAM), Nanjing, China 

About us:

Nanjing Center for Applied Mathematics (NCAM) is located in Jiangning District of Nanjing City, Jiangsu province, China. It is a legally independent research institution jointly funded by Nanjing Qiling Hi-Tec Zone and Southeast University. The director of the NCAM is Prof. Shing-Tung Yau. 

Based on the research projects of scientific importance and engineering backgrounds，NCAM aims to carry out the modeling and analysis of applied mathematics problems. Currently, the research scopes in NCAM are mainly focused on: 

1. Applied mathematical problems in material science and media imaging.  

2. Modeling and numerical methods for medical images. 

3. Mathematical methods for artificial intelligence and data mining. 

4. Large-scale scientific computing. 

5. Statistical methods and data science. 

6. Robotics research and automatic control.

7. Big data in electric network and high-performance computing for power system.

We invite qualified candidates with strong research records for joining. Candidates should obtain the Master or PhD degree in mathematics or related areas by the expected starting date, along with strong teamwork ability.

NCAM offers internationally competitive salary, annual research funds, and benefits including settle-down allowance and tentatively apartments for 3 years. Successful applicants are expected to conduct full-time research in NCAM.

Candidates with exceptionally strong qualifications will be recommended to apply full-time jobs in the Shing-Tung Yau Center of Southeast University.

Here are the positions available and the requirements:

Distinguished Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor

Candidates should have PhD degree and exceptionally strong qualifications in scientific researches.

Currently the annual salary ranges from 240,000 RMB to 2,400,000 RMB, determined by applicants' qualifications.

Postdoctoral Fellows

We also recruit postdoctoral fellows jointly affiliated to Southeast University. The candidates should have obtained their PhD degrees within 4 years and be under the age of 32. The normal duration of this position is 3 years. The wages are 300,000-470,000 RMB per year with benefits included.

Full-time engineers

Candidates should have Master or PhD degree, and proficient in machine learning, deep learning, MATLAB/ C/ C++/ python programming languages.

Currently the annual salary ranges from 150,000 RMB to 400,000 RMB, determined by applicants' qualifications.

一、招聘职位：机器人机电系统研发工程师、机器人嵌入式系统工程师、机器人电控系统工程师

职位描述：

1、有良好的软硬件技能，能够胜任无人系统，包括：飞行类、地面类、水面类机器人系统的机电和嵌入式系统研发工作，有自主开展相关研发工作的能力；

2、完成中心安排的电控系统设计和调试任务，进行必要的机电性能分析；

3、工程项资料的编制、更改、整理、更新、归档；

4、完成设备样机机电联调、定型及质量控制工作。

职位要求：

1、机电一体化（偏电）、机器人工程、自动化（嵌入式）等相关专业，研究生及以上学历，有机器人/机械臂方面长期研发经验者可适当放宽学历要求；有2年及以上工作经验者优先考虑；

2、熟练使用某型单片机或其他处理平台进行系统开发，具备较强的机械读图能力；

3、了解各种传动机构、气/液管路等工作原理及控制原理，熟悉各类传感器、执行器等器件应用；

4、具备良好的组织协调能力，合作精神强。
