中心副主任林文伟教授应清华大学求真书院院长丘成桐院士邀请，于2024年12月12日在求真书院的「Tsinghua Open Problems Seminar」给50分钟讲演 “Mass-Preserving Computational Geometry and it's Applications in Image Processing”。

       林教授主要提到了几个 open problems: 1. In fMRI images, manifold parametrization and geometric features extraction can be used to predict early symptoms of AD. 2. Ellipsoid parametrization can be used for segmentation and classification of various organs. 3. Compute geometry can extract geometric features from DWI images at different time-point, predicting genetic information of the brain tumor. 丘老师在场听讲，并指出收敛性证明的重要性。
